Review: I Spy The Boy Next Door

I received a free review copy from Book Sirens in exchange for an honest review.

I Spy The Boy Next Door by Samantha Armstrong is a young adult romance thriller about a teenage girl, Mallory and her interactions and relationship with Troy, the boy next door.

In the beginning, the book was not capturing my attention and clicking with me. However as the story progressed, it got so good that I could not stop reading. I had to find out what would happen next. I really enjoyed the book. I loved the characters, story line, and writing style. I loved everything, except for how slow the story started out.

After reading this book, I really want to pick up another book by Samantha Armstrong. My rating for this book is four out of five stars. I am very grateful to Book Sirens for sending me a copy.

Tattered is a contemporary, new adult, romance novel written by Devney Perry. It is the first book in the Lark Cove series. The book is about a young woman who is trying to raise her six-year-old daughter and make peace with the past, while building a relationship with her daughter’s father.

I loved everything about this book. I loved the writing style, story building, character development, plot, and everything else this book had to offer. There was not a single thing I disliked. I look forward to reading the rest of the series and other works by Perry. My rating for Tattered is five out of five stars.

Review: Mom’s Perfect Boyfriend

I received an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

Mom’s Perfect Boyfriend by Crystal Hemmingway is a cute romantic comedy about a young woman who tries to find the perfect boyfriend for her mother. What I like about this book is the writing style, however I did get a little confused at times as the story is told in the form of text messages and emails. I felt that there was a lot of back and forth and it was sometimes hard to follow.

I also adored the humor and the mother/daughter relationship. The character development was great too. Overall, I enjoyed Mom’s Perfect Boyfriend and I would rate the book four out of five stars. I am very grateful to the publisher for sending me a copy. The book releases on July 16, 2019.

At the beginning of the story Jamie and Eve can’t stand each other, but as the story progresses so does their attraction to each other.

I really loved this book. I thought it was so cute and funny too. I was laughing out loud, throughout the book. I thought the writing style and plot were good. I also adored Jamie and Eve. My rating for this book is five stars.
